Bo Nix and D’Eriq King sign with friendly boosters.

Predictable as the sun setting, boosters have already lined up to exploit the NIL ruling:

- Bo Nix signs with Milo’s Tea, whose director of marketing is an Auburn alum and booster.
- D’Eriq King signs with College Hunks Hauling Junk, whose founders are Miami alums and boosters.

Does anyone think College Hunks assessed King’s free market value to their business as $20k specifically, or was it just a nice convenient way to funnel cash to players.

As I’ve long predicted, schools will now have to market themselves to players based on the average paycheck boosters are able to funnel their way through $10k and $20k endorsement deals, and the richest/most corrupt schools will simply get richer.

The answer all along was to create an NFL-sponsored minor league so players without an interest in an education could obtain their full value in a true market setting, while the players that were fine with $80k/year in free benefits could continue to get education as they always did. But no, we decided to fuck up college football instead.

I hope ND has their key boosters ready.
