how many other failed HC's have lasted 12+ years?

And I mean at the programs where winning the national title is the goal. In the modern era, when salaries are multi-million dollar deals and stakes are high.

I could only come up with John Cooper at Ohio State (I think he lasted 12 or 13 years).

It would be interesting to see the average tenure of the failed coaches at Bama, OU, Texas et al. I bet the average is 6 bites at the apple.
