Unfortunately for us, it will never rise to the expectations of a national championship.
But we're getting there. Maybe in the next 11 years, Kelly will luck into winning a semi final, then only get blown out in the Championship. And we'll spend the next 8 years pointing to that 1 game as a reason to hang onto Kelly, then hire Rees for continuity, so we can continue the march on a title.
I'm guessing we'll get there by 2055 at this rate.
