he loses only when the election is stolen from him. They absolutely do not believe any poll that shows Haley outpolls Trump and Biden in a general election. They live in a parallel universe where Trump is a god-king and anything that suggests he's unpopular among vast swaths of Americans is a lie.

I know a few people like that.

The vast majority of Republicans I know, however, had hoped that Trump was gone after 2020. Like Covid, he keeps returning.
