If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. Question about high school players on sidelines at games by molecular

A player from my local high school was bragging on Twitter about how he was invited to be on the sideline for the ND-GT game. I know this is part of the normal recruiting process, but in this case, the player is a freshman who played on the sophomore team and was injured mid season, so he only played 3-4 games. I also see players from the local high school bragging on Twitter about being invited to be on the sidelines at non-ND games.

None of these players were all-conference selections, and none of them are rated by Rivals. Our local high school is not known for producing D-1 football players, and maybe has 1-2 kids per decade go on to play D-1 football.

I am curious if anyone knows how the process works to get invited to be on the sidelines for a college football game.
