True -- but the logic was fairly sound actually by btd

Lamb transferred out and was injured before that -- but after the decision this thread is about was made. Marist L and Simon both got injured this year. We only lost one LB from last year and we are only certain to lose one from this year. Lamb and Simon were both 4 star recruits with 3 years left at the time of the decision -- plus all the other players we are using now.

With 2020 being a free year, we still have 5-7 returning LB next season on top of the incoming class that will get us to 9-11. That's about the right count.

Our issue at LB has been more that we have had a lot of injuries and arguably some of the 4 star recruits didn't pan out as well as desired. EDIT: Bertrand was 4th string entering spring ball. Lamb, Marist and Simon were all ahead of him. To some extent that proves depth -- but it also proves why we have issues today: we are playing our 4th string LB.
