If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. Alabama at #2 is a farce by Queensman

Anyone who says what makes college football special is that every regular season game is important is full of complete shit.

Come the end of the season, Alabama may well be the 1st or 2nd best team. However, currently the facts are that they lost to unranked team and to date their best win is over a 2 loss Miss team.

Oregon at 4 is also a joke.

It seems the formula to getting into the playoffs is that if you are going to lose, lose to someone shitty. You get penalized for losing to a good team.

This formula worked perfectly for Ohio St. in 2014. They got the shit kicked out of them at home by a bad Va Tech team. However, running up the score on Wisconsin later in the year allowed them to sneak into the playoff and win.

If the games don't mean anything...and they want to just to just put in 4 teams they like, so be it. But please spare me the argument about college football being special because the of the regular season. Its really only important to the teams everyone is dying to eliminate.
