I don't think that point can be understated by pmcdnd96

We used to constantly hear from Kelly defenders that we can't possiby have the QB run because if Golson/Kizer/Wimbush/Book gets injured, we're screwed!
But that fails to take into account the fact that against good defenses, making players stay at home is extremely important. So when we play against Alabama and Clemson, their entire defense can focus on stopping our running back while one guy casually looks at the QB. Those slow-developing run plays aren't bad because they're slow developing, they're bad because our QB never keeps the ball.
