• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Didnt have kids until later in life. Took my wife, son sister in law and her husband (a Marquette Grad) to the Marquette game in February 2007. Son was 18 months old. On the way down I was telling myself you are 40 years old with your 18 month old son time to grow up.

At the time our tickets were in the old section that pulled out below the railing near the basket. I sit down with son on my lap. 2 minutes into the game there is horrible call on Harangody. I immediately jumped out of my chair to express my displeasure at the call and realize I am holding my poor son who is wondering who this idiot is that looks like his father. Turned to my wife, handed her our son and went back to yelling at the ref.

Realized then I was too far gone to change but they do say admitting the problem is half the battle.
