There's a labor shortage sports teams are dealing with. by G.K.Chesterton

Last week, the Milwaukee paper had a front-page story stating the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks were all scrounging for workers.

Game-day workers are in high demand, not only at American Family Field, but at Fiserv Forum and Lambeau Field for the Bucks and Packers. Add to the mix huge events like the Ryder Cup in Sheboygan, and the job numbers quickly soar.

Hundreds of sports-venue positions are open at a time when employers across the state are clamoring for hired help. For some games, Delaware North, the concessions management company for the Brewers and Packers, has brought in workers from the Twin Cities and Chicago.

“We are pretty much always looking for people,” said Nicole Venturini, a Delaware North recruiter in Milwaukee.
