Young didn't have a catch until his sophomore season, at least according to sports-reference.com.

As to your question, I think creating opportunities for young guys to get on the field, whether or not they're blue-chip prospects ready to put up big numbers, is really important for many reasons:

- Rewarding their hard work
- Giving them reps that will pay off later
- Getting them to buy in to the team's culture
- Giving their families a chance to get excited

For whatever reason, even blue-chip recruits can't seem to find the field under Kelly's leadership. How many more 4- and 5-star recruits have to experience the same outcome before the rest of them just check out?
