Similar thread from last month got lost in NIL/Peacock news by gregmorrissey

Final_Flanner posted a thread that linked to a Reddit poster that did a bunch of analysis on Freshman 4* & 5* WR production. It unfortunately didn't get much uptake because of Peacock and NIL news around the same time. It also was focused more specifically on production by Freshman 4* & 5* and not production by class.

I'm interested to see if the WR production numbers jump up across the board this year with Coan. For all Book's strengths in efficiently running the offense, he obviously was not a gunslinger. I thought our wide receivers looked pretty good on Sunday. They made plays on the ball, were able to get separation on a handful of plays, blocked well (though I would have liked one more seal block on the long screen to get Williams in the end zone -- which might have been there if he cut outside rather than in towards the end of the run).

And, I would guess we will see production out of the highly rated freshman this year, if for no other reason than necessity.
