• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Kelly has had 5 Defensive Coordinators by Irisharab

Diaco - Yes, he got a head coaching job after four years as Def. Coord. at ND. But it was at UConn., which currently is just barely a Div. 1-A program. After UConn, he has had a series of one year stints at four different programs. Per Wikipedia, he was fired as Purdue's Def. Coord. at the end of last season, and it doesn't show him having a job currently.

VanGorder - Post-ND career: 1.5 seasons as a Defensive Analyst, 3 seasons as a Def. Coord. (1 a Louisville, 2 at Bowling Green). Currently a Def. Coord. at a high school in Alabama.

Elko - About to start his fourth season as Def. Coord. at Texas A&M. Went from being a Def. Coord at one Top 10 program to being a Def. Coord. at another Top 10 program.

Lea - Starting his first season as Head Coach at Vandy. Arguably the only one of the Def. Coordinators who got a better job after ND.

Freeman - TBD.
