Important notes on articles:

• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Not every article needs to be discussed. The more the hair-pulling articles are discussed (e.g. ESPN Page 2), the more the authors will write hair-pulling articles.

"but ND" crap because you refuse to actually engage on the substance. We know you cannot be as stupid as you are pretending and this is all being pedantic. You know that it is ludicrous to equate a girlfriend writing a paper to schools having fictitious majors and courses so you throw around "pretty serious case of academic fraud" and "cheating." You dismiss money going to players as being a decade old when it dates from the same time as the ND "cheating" that you retreat to at every turn. You invoked Kim Dunbar from 25 years ago. You seemingly referred to a sexual assault incident from 2002 in which the players involved were expelled. You have equate that to schools who have recruited and covered for players with histories or sexual assaults. You pretend that the NCAA and individual institutions are reliable and equitable policing organizations when anyone with 3 brain cells knows that to be false. ND vacated wins in 2012-13 and Alabama didn't, case closed? We know you are not that dumb. We get it, you have an agenda. You cannot possibly admit that impermissible benefits have long been a big part of college football because that would undermine your predetermined world view.
