Important notes on articles:

• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Not every article needs to be discussed. The more the hair-pulling articles are discussed (e.g. ESPN Page 2), the more the authors will write hair-pulling articles.

This should but the class Rank temporarily at #1 on 247 by Hickster

Based upon Williams being the 21st recruit. He replaces the player ranked #21 in the class ( team ranking on 247 is based upon the top 20 recruits).

As soon as Alabama lands another recruit, they will leapfrog ND into the #1 spot (6 more players to add to their team points. ND will have to fight to stay in the Top 5 by adding more elite recruits. The following teams are right behind ND in the current rankings with far fewer verbal commits:
-Alabama 14 recruits
- Ohio St. 14
- Georgia 14
- LSU 15
- Oklahoma 15
- Clemson 12
- Texas A&M 13

ND will probably end up a class ranked 7 to 10, which is better than their average class and therefore recruiting is trending better. For the 2023, ND should have a good shot at a Top 5 class based off of this year’s results, and more time to capitalize on Freeman’s ability to energize ND recruiting.

These rankings are not infallible, but a strong indicator of teams getting quality recruits.
