Deaths are not inflated -- the vaccine is working by btd

The case count is rising -- still way below prior waves, but rising. The age of infected is now heavily skewed to the 30-49 age group followed by those below 30. It is flipped literally the exact opposite of the prior waves with 65+ being the lowest now.

Hospitalizations per case are also down compared to the prior two waves -- precisely what should happen when younger people are the infected ones now.

Deaths per case are dramatically lower -- again, exactly as expected given it is younger people now infected. The primary people dying are 65+ old people that voluntarily chose to not be vaccinated.

The same national data is holding in Florida for vaccinated people -- extremely low hospitalization percentages from that group and the same national averages for deaths from that group (close to zero percent).

The bottom line is if you are vaccinated, Florida is identical to the rest of the US and you don't need to be the slightest bit concerned you will die from covid.

Finally -- go look at the actual vaccination percentages for Florida to educated yourselves (the board as a whole). The state is at or above all national averages in every metric.

- Over 80% of all people age 65+ fully vaccinated
- Over 72% of all adults with at least one shot (and did that by the same date the country as a whole got there)
- Over 68% of all eligible people have at least one shot (age 12+)

NY and FL are within 1.5 million state population. Florida has 600k more people vaccinated than NY - in other words nearly identical proportion.
