...I don't agree. You can't keep playing with the current down and distance. That gives the advantage to the offensive team at the end of the game. Why try to punch it in during regulation if you're just going to be given more time to punch it in (as sudden death) in overtime?

Play it like the start of either half with a coin flip to decide who goes first. Each team is guaranteed at least one possession, then sudden death from there. If time in OT runs out and the game is still tied, it ends in a tie.
