Had a few classes with the guy. by potatohouse

The first time I met him, we were both in that Sunday night World Religion lecture in DeBart. I remember standing around before class one evening waiting to get checked in when my eyes wandered down a long hallway to the side entrance and passed over this guy standing outside of the door.

My first thought was "Oh hell no. No you don't. You know damn well those doors are locked. Walk around to the front like the rest of us normal schmucks." But then I realize he sees me shaking my head and now it's too late. That damn hallway was like a mile long. I begrudgingly trot over and let the man in. He flashes that thousand-watt smile and extends his hand. "Thanks, bro. Brandon."

His amiability made it difficult to be annoyed. And I always thought it was a nice gesture that he introduced himself. As if I wouldn't recognize the man whom I assumed was still wanted for the murder of Erik Ainge from a few weeks prior.
