His team either goes undefeated 2012, 2018, one loss 2020 regular season and loses big in the NC game or playoff, or has been 8–4 twice then November meltdowns the rest of the season with blowout losses interspersed. We either navigate a somewhat weak regular season to get into the NC running or we play our way out of the best bowls, other than the beat down by Ohio State. Kelly is a true pretender to the imagined crown he attempts to petulantly defend. The bowl record he has produced in quality of opponents and results has no nuance to it and is quite clear in the case you have laid out and certainly is enough of a data base to show he fails significantly on the big stage and is not able to produce results to make it to the remaining NY6 bowls, thereby dropping down a notch to teams he can beat.
