We'd go about .700 against the 6-20 teams is my guess by btd

I suspect if all other teams in that group also played each other, you'd find ND in the top 3 within that group.

Obviously, I am setting aside the fact teams would be devastated with injuries if they played that many games consecutive weeks of that nature, but I am just talking about our basic ability to play with those teams.

I think we are squarely inside the top 10. I think teams 4-10 are +/- all a toss-up against each other any given game. None of them have enough to consistently beat any other team from that group.

Our problem remains offensive system more than any other thing. With the correct system we are capable of beating the top 3 teams 10-15% of the time. That's up from 0% several years ago all the way back to Holtz.

Elite players will not raise our odds of winning these games substantially. We need both elite players and a different offensive system -- a different implementation of it to head off those that claim our system is arguably the same one the top 3 are running.
