What’s your better solution for a 2020 schedule? by fortune_smith

Without games against the B1G, Pac 12 and the ACC with the first two going conference-only and the ACC going 10+1 with the +1 required to be played in-state.

Home-and-home with BYU and Army? Preserve some of the Navy, Arkansas and WMU games — maybe even all, though this may be beyond our control? Maybe some road games in the ACC’s +1 slot? Maybe some games versus the Big 12 and additional SEC opponents to the extent they allow non-conference games and we fit into their constructs?

Can you get to 10 games? Will half be at home? Will the P5 opponents be available for us on the weekends that we need given that they’re all playing 10 conference games and only 10 or 11 total?

Against the constraints that have emerged, this is an excellent outcome. And it’s clearly set up to be a single-season outcome. it also aligns with the university’s obligation to deliver a reasonable solution to our student-athletes.

Now, hopefully, we can prudently proceed with a season, though, obviously, this still seems very much up in the air.
