Well, it's a question of risk by garbageplate

The players are going to be living on campus already and congregating for classes, parties, meals, etc., so what is the increased risk of contracting the virus as a result of playing sports? In turn, what is the risk of death or serious illness for young men aged 18-23? How does that incremental risk compare to other risks, such as driving?

If the players weren't prepared to deal with an element of risk, then they wouldn't play football in the first place. I'd assume that an overwhelming majority of the players want to play this year as scheduled.
