I suspect I'll be longing for the way the Bulls' dynasty ended.
No agonizing over a bunch of champions that just don't have enough to get it done in the playoffs and the frustration that goes with that.
I sure as hell don't know how these trades are going to turn out, but I understand both of them.
It just sucks that a guy like Hjalmarsson can't finish his career with the Blackhawks. He played 10 years and got the living shit beat out of him, thanks in particular to his style of play. To say that he was indispensable to the Blackhawks' three Cups seems grossly inadequate.
I may come to prefer the Bulls' method (without the stupidity and incompetence that followed, of course): We're done. We're leaving (so to speak). It's over. Clean and simple. Only good memories.
