At a Freshman mixer no less. Her passing is such a tragedy. If you haven't seen Monty's eulogy for Ingrid, it is worth taking a few minutes to do so. How composed and well spoken he is, in addition to his message, is simply unbelievable.

Monty had already overcome so much. The hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, being let go from New Orleans after getting them to the playoffs in 2015, having to be a teammate of the Ross brothers....

Williams will get another HC gig at some point, if that's what he wants to do (there are rumors he turned down an offer to be the HC at Illinois).

I still have a hard time believing NO let him go after he had them improving every year to the point of returning to the playoffs.

The Pelicans are currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 33-45 record and no chance of making the playoffs this season (and this is with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins).

Good call New Orleans.
