After mens' competition, ND leads (tied with OSU but ND has tiebreaker) the 2017 Fencing Championship. The overall team has a decent lead over the women teams ranked higher than the ladies. Men were ranked fourth going into championships, so they ourperformed. Womens' team ranked third.

much stronger women's team up now. what helped the men is that the 3 men's NCAA champions were not from the pt. leaders.
