Her PR is about 20-25 seconds faster than anyone else in the finals. She is also the only one to break 15 mins in the finals. In addition, she is the only one to be under 15 this year.

If it is a slow tactical race (which it probably will be knowing how these races go), there may be some drama. However, I think she has the speed to beat anyone in the field, and will probably win "easily."


I was wondering if she sand-bagged and maybe she did. *

If you look at her last 400m

She ran 1:08 where her nearest competitors ran 1:05-1:06. So in winning her heat and having the best overall time, she was still able to coast on in.

It could be complete chaos. The key to stopping that is not going out as slow as the men did (they went out at 15:20 pace after the first 1k).
