By even winding up for a strike, Auba was interfering with play. It's a shame, since it canceled out a great play by Pulisic.

The offside on Auba's goal was a horrible call. Assistant should be sent down to Europa for that one.

Bottom line: Bürki needs to work on his positioning. Seems obvious to me that Spurs had a plan to test him at the near post early.

On the plus side, Yarmolenko looks like one of the bargains of the summer, and Toljan looked solid. Altogether, this wasn't a terrible performance for BVB. Unfortunately, they'll need a result at the Westfalenstadion against Madrid to maintain a realistic shot at making the knockouts.
