Barcelona whines about Man City and PSG distorting the transfer market, after selling Neymar for a gazillion dollars, and offering a half-gazillion for Dembele and Coutinho...

Yes, the madness in the market is entirely down to City and PSG. It's also hilarious that La Liga asked for an FFP investigation into PSG and City's revenue sources, out of fears they are being propped up by other institutions.

Is there no such thing as a sense of shame anymore?

When they said "other institutions" they weren't

"There is incredible risk involved when money comes from states and governments." -- La Liga President Javier Tebas.

Yeah. That's what makes it even more absurd. La Liga is

complaining because it thinks Man City's sponsorship with Etihad airlines is a sham. Etihad is the official airline of UAE, and Man City's owner is the prince of Abu Dhabi. Thus, the UAE government is unfairly propping up Man City.

The irony is just unbelievable.

The funny thing about PSG

Despite the money they have spent, their hopes in the CL hinge on several midfield players who have a history of frequent injury. And 35 year old Motta. They can get away with being thin in Ligue 1 but not the CL. They'll probably have to sell Draxler in the next window, too, unless he starts filling in for midfielders earlier in the season because he's going to want to play more than he has been.

And unless FFP is discarded, they are going to be really hamstrung going forward because of the way they have structured the Mbappe deal.

As far as Barcelona is concerned, they can eat a giant bag of dicks. Years of dirty pool are coming back to bite them now, and it couldn't happen to a nicer group of assholes.

Agreed. *
