Duke, and NC are the higher ranked teams in the next round for the ACC women while FSU and Virginia will be the underdog playing at the higher ranked PAC12 schools. The SEC and Big 10 continued to be the overrated conferences losing 3 each including A&M not defending their home field-the only one of the 8 home teams to lose. Let's get to the Elite 8.

ACC 13-3 (#1 Duke, #1 NC, #3 Va, #4 FSU, ND)
SEC 8-6 (#1 S Car, #3 Fla)
PAC12 9-4 (#1 Stanford, #2 UCLA, WSU)
BIG 12 7-3 (#2 WVU, #4 Texas, Baylor)
BIG 10 5-4 (#3 PSU)
WCC 3-1 (Santa Clara)
Ivy League 2-0 (#4 Princeton)

As for the guys only 16 matches were played in the 1st round before Sunday's opportunity for the winners to play the seeded teams. The ACC won 1 with Va Tech beating Air Force while N State lost to Old Dominion. Here's the record so far and the teams from the seeded conferences still playing in the second round:

ACC 1-1 (#1 Wake, #3 NC, #4 Louisville, #6 Duke, #8 Clemson, #11 Va, #12 ND, Va Tech)
PAC12 0-2 (#9 Stanford)
BIG 10 1-1 (#2 Indiana, #7 MSU, #13 Michigan, Wisconsin)
BIG East 1-0 (#14 Georgetown, Butler)
MAC 0-0 (#5 Akron, #8 Western Michigan)
Ivy League 1-0 (#15 Dartmouth, Columbia)
A10 0-0 (#16 VCU)

I'll update both men's and women's results after Sunday's matches. Let's hope both teams are still playing.
