in exchange for TV rights to international tournaments, including CopaAmerica, according to testimony by a former FIFA executive. The linked story from Yahoo does not indicate that bribes were paid for World Cup TV rights.




I think Fox's denial deserves investigating.

Either Fox is correct and they had nothing to do with it, or else the whole arrangement was set up intentionally that way so if anyone was caught, they could say they knew nothing about it.
