I passed a WWII vet the other day before the game. He was sitting on a bench just along the stretch of grass running up to the Dome, and near Father Sorin.

I wanted to stop and shake his hand. However I paused thinking I didnt want to bother him taking in the glorious fall weather and the sounds of gameday on campus.

This post will forever cause me to pause and thank our great warriors.
