former Irish player Terry Lorenz, a center/wing in the 1990s on Shafer's last two teams and Poulin's first two. Rieger had a pretty good season for DU with 16 goals and 14 assists. Notre Dame also had defensemen Sean Lorenz in the 2010s, who was the son of a completely different Terry Lorenz than the one who played hockey here.
