This series against UM reminds me of a similar situation we faced a number of years ago playing in HE during Bjork’s last year. That season, we made the HE semi finals and got thoroughly embarrassed by a UM-Lowell team many had pegged for the frozen four. Two weeks later we beat them in the regional final in Manchester- only the second time that happened away from the CFIA while we were in HE. Jackson made a couple of subtle but important adjustments with the lineup and their approach in the time between the HE semis and the regionals that proved to be the difference. This included a very lengthy conversation with Jordan Gross at the end of their open practice before the regionals that lit a fire under him.

We don’t have Bjork (or Gross or Oglevie) and are younger than that particular team, but I’ve seen Jackson do this before.
