I just re-watch the Tommy Rees speech. There is a sign on the wall of the auditorium that says, “MOTIVATION: It Is Your Job To Motivate You.” I guess that is consistent with what Brian Kelly has previously preached. But it still makes me want to barf.

When asked his thoughts on motivating the team he said it was easy.

“Motivation is simple. You eliminate those who are not motivated.”

It’s just simple athletics/planet fitness/weight loss pablum that is thrown around.

Your job is to be motivated, mine is to call fade passes *
