It is the landing strip for teams 5-17. Or lower.

I don’t know much about Freeman other than to say he seems to be good at convincing g players to come to ND. Other than that he is a goddamned piece of low hanging fruit. Right at Jack’s eye level and I do not expect Saucy to be distracted by better fruit a few feet up.
