It should be GA, Mich,ND and Cin or OSU

We will beat the hell out of Cincinnati if play again as well as Oregon, OK and OSU. I really believe so if we continue to play like we are playing and withHamilton back

Nope, ND loss to Cincy should have consequences

Pending surprises, thinking UGA, UM, Cincy, OKST.

Is there no consequence for OKST’s loss to Iowa State? * *

I’ll admit, I have no idea what this means..

What I know is Cincinnati is unbeaten, and Iowa State is 5-4.

Same logic as avoiding 2x SEC, let the season matter. *

I think the bigger concern is lack of quality wins.

Right now, one team that we’ve beaten is ranked in the CFP top 25, and they have 3 losses.

What BK has failed to do is go beat top teams. Beat wins in his tenure are Oklahoma 2012, MSU (I forget the year they were ranked when we played them, but they finished the season unranked), and Clemson 2020 without Trevor Lawrence in OT.

That’s it. In 12 years, BK has won maybe 3 games that we thought were appropriate top-level challenges. We have more “good losses” over that time, even more “ass beatings,” than wins.

If we want respect as a title contender, we have to have fewer ass beatings and more wins against top level competition.

2012 Stanford as well, but your point stands. *

2011-2013 with msu. #10 in coaches after season in 2011

Despite us stomping them. #10 at time of game in 2012 when we beat them 20-3 at MSU. #3 at end of season in 2013 despite one loss all tear (to us but much closer than previous two years and unranked at time of game.) our defenses ate them alive each year.

No consequence for losing to MSU (UM) or unranked (OSU) *

For years the committee has shown that who you lose to...

is less important than who you beat. We simply don't have the same quality of wins as some other teams. I don't think a 3 loss Wisconsin team struggling to score double digits is impressing the committee.

Interesting but i did read

Committee is already on record stating they are impressed with Notre Dame

when you say OSU are you referring to Okie St or Ohio St?

If Okie St. handles OU I could easily see them jumping ND in the rankings. And I also think that the Suckeyes are better than ND is. So I guess either could make the final four. But if push comes to shove, a 2-loss Bama would probably be a better choice than a 2-loss Ohio St. Of course, that depends on how bad UGa beats them in the SEC title game. Now watch Auburn beat Bama today and then Bama beat Georgia in the SEC title game. Then what?

I think Georgia will make it unless they lose by 21 or more. *

ND had beaten up a pathetic cast of characters the past few weeks. ND had their chance against Cincinnati and lost by 11. The entire season counts. If Oklahoma State wins out, they deserve a spot. I do think ND would be favored against Cincinnati if they played today but that ship has sailed. I’m not sure Georgia will beat Alabama but will get in either way. Cincinnati may very well lose to Houston.

Precisely you are giving me the reason. Whats more I think

Wisconsin will beat Michigan in the conference championship. Ohio State is way overated and we are underated. We are a totally different team now and if we use Estime in short yardage look out
