Shaw was one of the biggest opponents of the early signing period; now we are seeing why. Allegedly, Stanford admin will not grant admission early enough in the cycle for Stanford to compete against other schools.

They'd seemingly have about ten guys decommit every recruiting cycle.

Turns out they were taking commitments from guys before they had cleared the admission process.

Many of their decommitments never actually got into the school.
