That would be a terrible decision by the committee. Bama

is not great this year. Their best win has been a good Mississippi team. Struggled against a horrible Florida team and against LSU at home. They managed 6 yards rushing in the LSU game. Could you imagine this board after beating a shitty team with 6 yds rushing. Pretty sure we have been there.

That doesn't really distinguish us from Bama.

We rushed for 3 total yards in a game, although yes it was against a very good Wisconsin rush defense.

But we squeaked out wins against teams as bad or worse than UF and LSU. And we have no top ten win. And we have no top five win (which Bama could conceivably have even with a loss to, say, Arkansas). A win against Georgia would clearly vault Bama over ND.

A loss to Georgia but a win over Arkansas and Auburn gives ND a chance to sneak by. But I couldn't tell you with a straight face that with Bama's schedule we would only lose once. And the committee knows it.

No it doesn't, but . . .

1 loss vs. 2 losses does. In the eyes of the Committee, if nothing else.
