That OSU could have been selected to beat Iowa if the Big 10's rules were different.

But based on Big 10's rules and MSU's on-field accomplishments, after the results of the Big 10 Champ. game, the committee got it right and it was not a tough decision.

Definitely not wrong though

If I'm following the thread, the other posted pointed to MSU-OSU as an example of the committee maybe having gotten it wrong. I don't think that's an arguable position.

I don't remember the situation and am not checking the facts given here, but under the facts given, MSU was clearly the choice over Ohio State. No question at all.

Could OSU have won the Big 10 if given the opportunity to play in the Big 10 Championship game? Sure, but who cares. That's not what happened.
