The schedule obviously looked much better before the year began; and keeps getting worse by the week. It’s not our fault that Tier One or high Tier two opponents we had on the schedule have all had disappointing years. But yes, we should be playing an elite SEC team every year; as a gauge of where the program actually is. (Hint: paper tiger.). And Jack is a massive douchebag.

However…FSU won the National TItle in 2013; have won three of them since we last won one. Also, three Heismans since we last won one.

USC has won two National TItles (just missed a couple of others) and three Heismans since we last won one.

Stanford (on sharp downturn) has been nationally relevant and one of the countriy’s better programs for a decade. They’ve also won two Rose Bowls and the Orange Bowl in the last decade. Three major Bowl wins. And our last major bowl win was 1994.

Wisconsin has often finished with double digit wins for two decades; and has won both the Cotton Bowl and the Orange Bowl within the last 5 years. And to repeat, our last major bowl win was in 1994.

Cincinnati is the #6 team in the country. They’ve gotten pantsed in two major bowl games in the last 12 years. Just like we have.

For a program that has been a paper tiger for nearly 30 years, we sure look down on a lot of other programs.
