you don't need their shitty little box. Is is streaming fine on both my laptop and TV (Roku).

Confirmed. I just got setup -- it has quirks...

I was able to sign up for the main Peacock channel straight away (for free) -- works on Roku or just via a browser. However, going to the ND game prompted me to buy premium peacock -- even though I am comcast. Within the app there was no way out of paying.

I then googled "Is Peacock Premium free with Comcast?"

That brought me to a web page saying yes, and then it had a button to link your comcast account to your peacock account by logging into your Comcast account (Comcast owns Xfinity for confused people).

Then I went back to Peacock on Roku and it still demanded payment. You have to sign out entirely and sign back in for it to recognize your status change. Now I have the ND game added to my watch list.
