Huge assumptions. Was he covering for Freeman and/or himself for the decision to go soft prevent to try to burn clock? It was not because of missed gaps that the 18 point lead disappeared. I cannot speak to the two long TD botches. Maybe those were….. The 2nd half melt down was not missed gap assignments: it was prevent defense and bad tackling.
