but what happens when Saban retires? Alabama and thus the SEC won't be nearly as good as they are now...he really has made that program as well as the conference. I don't think the SEC is all that great in basketball with the exception of Kentucky. I know they're good at baseball...fine, I don't watch college baseball. Track & Field...ditto. Swimming...they're phenomenal...but who cares.

I think back to Pete Carroll at SC...he had them running hot for a period of time and then he left...and SC has been a shell of a program compared to when Carroll was there. I believe that Saban has done a remarkable job but the same thing will happen when he retires (or takes the ND job...I wish)
