The QB carousel is becoming like the coaching carousel. We’ll see movement throughout the spring and summer.

I think we could land a G5 or FCS NFL prospect at QB who wants 1-2 years on a big stage. There are a handful of guys at that level that are better NFL prospects than the Book/Pyne type.

Virginia Tech QB Hendon Hooker who has been decent at times and got an offer from ND back in 2017 coming out of HS, and Jack Coan of Wisconsin who sat out this year with an injury after “game managing” Badgers to Rose Bowl in 2019. Coan had committed to play lacrosse at ND coming out of NY a few years ago. After watching him at UW, I’d pass on him in favor of Hooker but he’s a smart kid who I can see BK calling.

ND needs to find someone though, especially if Clark has a lingering knee issue.
