Give him your login information and worst-case he can watch on his phone.

Or, if his girlfriend's family has anything resembling a modern TV setup (a smart TV, or any sort of set-top dongle, Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, etc...) they can install the ESPN app and use the login to watch.
