Penn State maybe a little less so because under James Franklin they've actually managed to re-emerge as a solid program - although they did largely disappear in terms of relevance for close to a couple of decades once B1G membership took hold. (Competitive relevance, anyway - they were extremely relevant for less desirable reasons for a little bit there.)
But Pitt, once a great program and now an also-ran in two different conferences, being uppity about another team's choice to be independent is just weird.
