There's a whole generation of alumni and fans who have accepted the mediocrity and are content to still spend plenty of money.

Attendance is falling already w/out steady ACC diet....

I doubt we would be allowed to keep the NBC contract as it would be
considered competitive in-balance and NBC probably wouldn't want
us playing a regional schedule anyway.
The PTB won't announce a campaign until it's mostly filled.

It's been going on for a couple of years and most of the money will be raised from the corporations/foundations before the deep pocket alums and the great unwashed even hear about it.
