Have the dome, basillica and Library as the main components of it?
and it actually looks a little creepy Harry Potter
look great on that.
cameras. You'll probably see more shots like this to get the crowd fired up.
That video is terrible. The font on "Welcome to Notre Dame Stadium" is atrocious. And to think the makers of the billboard here got criticism for their art skills.
Chris Spielman just filed a suit against Ohio State
For the most part, we are now going to have periods of quiet where everyone is staring at the stupid video board instead of god forbid cheering or making any kind of noise. We are all being conditioned to desire as much visual and audio stimulation that we can get our hands on as opposed to spontaneous and real excitement. It's all choreographed. The stadium will never be louder than it was against Miami in 1988, FSU in 1993, or USC in 2005. What was the common denominator in all of those games....we were actually good and people were motivated and excited to be a part of it.
Of the pimping and revenue whoring going on at ND, not to mention the dorky alums
that will pay for anything to enhance their "stadium experience."
New and gold game?
You can't make this shit up.
is better, but I doubt it.
But always for our opponents.
...the assaults on assistants at long last given their due.
Everything will be done really, really tastefully.
Good luck with all this, Boston College; I mean, Notre Dame, or whoever you are now.
They also would kill for actual concession stands. Holy shit they have a high school football operation going on.
To me it's the biggest embarrassment of the whole stadium renovation process.
I know I'm in the minority, but I don't mind the videoboard. My 'not minding' would be swayed to actually liking it if I had any confidence the people running it wouldn't abuse it.
on the videotron, and the suckers in the stadium won't notice. Kind of like the fake race feeds in "The Sting".
with a camera that zooms in or out through (1) streets (2) campus (3) space. Ugh.
Keeping it classy, ND.
Not exactly comfortable seats
Against the gray-blue Sky , a Jumbotron....
Because the lack of a videoboard made us unique and classy. We weren't the last school holding onto grass so I didn't get as attached to grass.
It reminds me of this:
It's a desecration.
Has to be worth 2 - 3 points a game.
Not so much for the concession stands as for the video board and the other new junk.
Similar to the Brewers hosting exhibition games right before the regular season starts.
