go as undrafted free agent where you can choose where you go.

It seems to me a great example of this is Brock Wright. He chose a team with a new coach who was a career Back-up TE and with a weak roster. It seems like he could not have chosen a better place to sign in 2021.

UDFA’s often get nada if they don’t make the team.

and I believe practice squad guys check in at about 250k per year, and those rosters have been expanded.
