innings of work. Threw -95 pitches, with lots of help from the Irish who went down in the 7th and 8th looking at 16 pitches.

11 more runs allowed. 9-3 is misleading

I'd say this season is teetering on the edge of failure. The pitching staff seems to have regressed from even last year. Mediocre competition to this point has masked the issue, but that's largely done so we'll soon see what ND really has or doesn't have.
